But I struggled to find time as well as build the connection with this book as I did the first. I started to read as and when I could fitting around work, little miss and all the general running around. “tackle with themes of female empowerment, heroines that reflect reality, outgrowing friendships and what it’s like trying to prop up struggling parents.” Woman’s Way I thought I best check in on the Facebook group and see how everyone else was getting on, many were like me and had either just started or hadn’t started yet….phew! But time flew past! After the books being delivered and doing my day job in the office I realised I still hadn’t opened the book □□♀️….not again! It was still free flowing so people could enjoy reading without the pressure of a strict deadline, and I kept the optional zoom chats available at the end to discuss it if we wanted but they were not compulsory.Īfter leaving the first book until the last minute I wanted to start this one sooner especially with the time being shorter. With the first title we had 6 weeks to read but after checking in many people were finished after 2 to 3 weeks so we decided we would try this one as a monthly title with it being over 4 weeks.
